This was surprisingly funny, though I think you'd need to be a meathead/serious lifter to appreciate much of the humor. If you fit that demographic, though, it's consistently laugh-out-loud hilarious. The author bio gives a good idea of the kind and quality of humor found throughout: "he's the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, not because you needed his shirt, but just because he wanted to be shirtless". I'd highly recommend this to guys who've been lifting weights for a few years. Note that this book is far from politically correct. And that I don't care. It is satire, after all.… (mehr)
