Overall, this does feel like a good introduction. The organization and writing of the book are fine. I did feel a handful of parts were a bit too general and maybe even obvious, so they were tedious to get through. But the book has a good sense of humor.

I haven't started law school yet, so I'm curious to see how much of this book's material/tips will be explained to me at the start of law school. Whether or not this book is essential, I'm sure reading this book prior to starting school will be a help. I'll have to see how much of the tips I'll end up using once I get in the thick of it. But in any case, my gut feeling is that reading this book will benefit me as I start 1L. I do feel like I've gotten a good introduction for what to expect in the first year and beyond.… (mehr)
