What a sweet story this is. The story is set in a small town in Texas. Aurora is a chef who returns home from Los Angeles to hep her families’ business. She ends up reuniting with her high school sweetheart Jude. Aurora’s sisters are now running Orchard Inn and after the chef quits they call upon Aurora to come and help. Aurora comes for a few months until a new chef is hired. There is a lot work to do since Orchard Inn is a premiere wedding venue. When Jude went to college he broke up with Aurora. After college he came home to work on the family ranch and Jude has not seen Aurora since he broke up with her. There are many ups and downs with family, friends and just plain logistics. Eventually, Aurora and Jude get together and they get a second chance at love and to make their dreams come true. But will. Aurora choose to stay in Texas or go home to Los Angeles? And will Jude fight for her this time around?

This book reminded me of a good Hallmark romance movie. It was sweet and enjoyable. Definitely worth the read.

Contemporary romance.
Beth is a wedding planner for her family’s venue. Her best friends wedding could save the business unless brother of the groom has his way and has the whole thing cancelled. Sawyer believes that his brother’s fiancé is just out for a cash win. Working with Beth and getting to know her, the family and the fiancé alleviate his worries. But is it enough?

I enjoyed the interaction between Beth and Sawyer. But his trust issues almost ended everything. He had reasons, of course. Fortunately it’s a romance, so all ends well.

"For this full book I give it 3.4 out of 5 stars, each story was charming in its own way. I enjoyed the glimpses that we got of all the characters ... just some stories I wish were fleshed out a little more than others. Overall, I definitely recommend this anthology to any romance reader, especially for those who want to get into the "St. Patrick's Day spirit." "

A Date with Desire is a thoroughly entertaining romantic tale that will easily keep the reader turning the pages. The story follows the unexpected romantic meeting of Anna Martel and Devin Bradley, when Anna goes on a much needed vacation to the Honeywilde Inn, a North Carolina mountain resort owned by the Bradley family. I really enjoyed following Devin and Anna's story. I couldn't help but enjoy watching the chemistry that developed between them, especially when it is a love at first sight kind of romance. They are simply made for each other, and it you can't but cheer for them as their relationship develops into love.

A Date with Desire is a fast paced and fun romance story that has engaging characters, humorous interactions and witty dialogue, troubled pasts and buried secrets that come to the surface, drama, and a sweet romance. The author provides the reader with a rich description of the beautiful mountain resort setting in North Carolina, that will make them long to visit the sights and sounds of this picturesque locale for themselves.

A Date with Desire is an enjoyable and lighthearted romance story that will leave a smile on your face.

A Date with Desire is the second book in the Honeywilde Romance series, and can be a stand alone read.
