When I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, this was the first book I turned to. It covers everything I wanted and needed to know: symptoms, prognosis, complications, testing, treatments, medications, coping strategies, exercises, emotional issues and more. The writing is neither too simple nor too overly technical and inaccessible. The book includes a good bibliography, glossary and many resources for more help and information. If you have RA, this is an essential resource. I bought several copies to share with my family, to help them understand the issues.… (mehr)
