Alien shores : an anthology of Australian science… von Peter McNamara
This rating is for a particular short story. I did not read the entire anthology. I borrowed it specifically to read "Flowering Mandrake" by George Turner and it was a fabulous science fiction story, unexpected and beautifully executed. The alien is of plant origin, and everything about the alien and the ship makes wonderful sense.
