Charlie and Gideon believe love is enough until life intervenes. The actuality of being married to a Navy SEAL sets in and Charlie has to learn to live alone and with difficult family members. Well done.

I had forgotton about it, until after this most recent move, when I went through my Nook, looking for something to read. It is now on my list for this coming long weekend, and I will post a more indepth review of actual material.

The main characters whirlwind meeting and marriage is an attempt at romance but they end up coming across as immatue and juvenile, a couple of kids at making a terrible mistake. throughout the book I found all the characters to be flat and boring. This story should have been horrifying but ultimately hopeful, however, I never identified with Charlie enough to care what happened to her. This was a disappointing read.… (mehr)
