Pure & Sinful had me hooked straight away especially with the opening line. With Demons, Witches, Demigods and Priests what more could you ask for. I really liked Riona’s character she was a pure soul along with Dee the demigod and Marc the priest but Riona’s boundaries for sins are a little different from Father Marc Angeletti, who’s boundaries are very strict.
Seeing their relationship trying to be denied but knowing that surely they would give in to temptation eventually it made for a great read and vanquishing demons too the book was brilliant.

Just as in Pure & Sinful, Killian McRae has me wanting more. How dare she end this book just when I was on the edge of my seat! Hold on tight, this book does not disappoint!
Now first, Riona. Come on! Stop denying what you know you feel for Jerry. Yes, I am Jerry’s cheerleader. Don’t hate! You will be too! Now back to Riona. I know you have had a lot of “truths” thrown at you, but denying what you want versus what you think you should have is not healthy for anyone!
Oh Jerry, once Pure Soul turned demon, now you are…. Well, I cannot tell you what he is. That would mean I would have to spoil some pretty juicy gossip! I can’t do that! Needless to say he has redeemed himself in this installment. Don’t worry, there will be plenty more Jerry coming; I am sure of it by the ending of this book that left me panting and begging for it to not be the ending!
We still get lots of Remi and Dee too, along with others introduced to us in Pure & Sinful. This book was nothing short of great! I cannot go too far into what I liked about this book, again I would be a spoiler. Just trust me when I say this is not your traditional love story/paranormal book. I had been waiting for almost a year for this book! I read the first two when each of them first came out... I was sucked into the wit, humor and demi-god world instantly, which surprised me since this isn't usually my genre. Killian has a way of making these books more entertaining than you would expect.

The back and forth in this story might make you dizzy but a good dizzy. I couldn't make my mind up. Was I leaning towards Jerry or Marc. I kind of was that way before too, but this time, my head was spinning.

With so much going on with each of the characters, there is never a dull moment in this book. The chuckles, the cuteness, the sitting on the edge of your seat. This isn't your typical book, just like any of Killian's books. This is a book with super-natural powers, love, action, deceit.... Really, it has a little of just about every element possible.

If you have yet to pick up any of this series, you should rectify that soon! This is one of those series that definitely will keep you entertained from one book to the next!… (mehr)

Sorry, nearly two thirds of the way through the book and the development of succubus into the story, despite his being from another planet, was just too much for me. My interest drained rapidly despite being by a lovely pool and enjoying superb weather as the undoubtedly creative side of the author came to the fore. The book started off so promisingly, but began to lose its way, to such an extent that I didn't want to carry on. My apologies to the author, but sadly you lost me. If there is to be a trilogy, I hope it develops more promisingly than this.… (mehr)
