This book was fantastic. It was written in 1991 and each letter is a small poem about a different child behaving badly. This book has been banned, frequently. The most common complaint is that it gives children the wrong ideas on proper behavior. A easy picture book recommend the Forty-Niners. The book starts off with a man wanting to go to the west to look for Gold. He explains the process and what is needed to be a true forty-niner. The book has outdated pictures, so that is the only reason I rated it so low. Other than that, I think this book is good for the classroom library if any children are interested in the Wild Wild West.

Such a corrupt nunnery! Murders! Passion, making love, lesbian relationships. And this was in the early 1600s! A quick read.… (mehr)
