Zahhak is a 32-page description of a layer of the Abyss. Zahhak isn't here to crush the PCs with hordes of demons or acidic rivers; it's a place for apathetic souls to arrive and for etching winds to drain the will from unexpected visitors. It's a nice unexpected step for any party expecting Hell to simply be a place with higher-level random encounters.
