I probably shouldn't review this, since I've only jumped around, reading bits from various chapters. Yet this book is formatted in a way that fosters such an approach. The sections consist of short essays, some of them reprints, some written for the book, and interviews. The sections are named after a book on the same theme, have an introduction by the editor, a brief bio of the author of the theme book, a number essays by guest authors (some of them reprints) and end with a bibliography of all books or resources mentioned in the essays, which is handy but not as standard as a closing bibliography.… (mehr)
