Very interesting, albeit slightly confusing story. But to be honest story is very much in vein of cyberpunk noir - complete twist at the end that puts everything on its head.

Witnessing a strange conflict in the subterranean prt of Night City, unsuspecting maintenance engineer soon finds himself involved with the mysterious woman getting chased by armed assailants. He offers her help and she accepts it but who can one trust in treacherous dystopia that is Night City? And in the world of ever enhancing technology how can one even be sure that there is no mind-play in progress, hacks over hacks in order to bring one to the very brink of sanity? It does get complicated and will leave you scratching your head at the beginning but if you read Gibson and understood what is going on, this will be walk in the park.

Art is very good and very much supports the entire atmosphere of the story - depressing and suffocating, dystopia par excellence.

If only people would understand that Cyberpunk is a warning, not something to aspire to.

Recommended to fans of cyberpunk in general and Cyberpunk RPG in particular.

I'm so glad that Dandelion showed up in this one, I love the bard
Geralt is such a unique character and the same sass/sarcasm he shows in the show comes up again throughout these comics, which is always one of the best parts in my opinion! Each of the stories throughout these volumes have been really interesting, focusing on different kinds of “monsters” and yet showing that in the end it’s typically the humans that act more monstrous than the monsters themselves. The third volume, Curse of Crows does throwback a good bit to the events of a quest that happens in the show, which is interesting, but I did end up preferring the other stories I think which were completely new material and monsters (to me, anyways, who has only seen the show).

As for the art, I particularly enjoyed the art in the first two volumes which was done by Joe Querio and colored by Carlos Badilla. The art had a very creepy, fantastic tone for the setting, particularly with the woods setting. The art in the later two was also good, but I did prefer that of the first two.

Pretty solid - I liked the callbacks to other short stories in the universe.
