Twelve of the 100 Views of Edo. Lovely reproductions. What can I say; I'm a sucker of art calendars.

Nice book, not so wild about the art

This sweet little book is a catalog of dolls presented to the 48 states and the District of Columbia in the gratitude train from France in 1949. Contemporary (1949) fashion designers dressed dolls in fashions from 1749 to 1949, not too good historically but interesting from the point of view of 1949 post war French Fashion design. These dolls are similar to the dolls in the Theatre de la Mode from 1947
