Another beautifully designed book by MVRDV.

This massive tome brings together new material and works found in FARMAX, SKYCAR CITY, SPACEFIGHTER, and METACITY/DATATOWN. It is massive and beautiful and full of conceptual and speculative work. The work and research is a culture machine feeding into what MVRDV produces as an architectural practice. While the writing is really great and engaging and the research and the project documentation: all of it artful and very intense graphically; the best parts for me were the interviews.

There is so much to dig into in this book that it really serves as a theoretical reference guide for the radical architect.… (mehr)
