A fluffy middle installment trips through some tropes: using first names, caring for a person with a cold, fretting over indirect kisses, exchanging Christmas presents. It's a nice visit with characters I like even if it evaporates pretty quickly from the memory as the teasing relationship continues its oh-so-slow evolution to something else.
This guilty pleasure continues to make me happy. This time the main characters -- still stuck in their abusive flirting cycle -- get to show a little concern for each other as first one sprains an ankle and the other gets a cold. That cold results in a visit to Nagatoro's house and the introduction of a member of her family.
The rivalry and jealousy with the twisted art club president gets a couple short tweaks too.

Nagatoro's victim/crush actually asks her to go to the zoo with him on what can only be considered a date. Progress! But still with lots of backsliding into teasing and tormenting.
And the art club president and her breasts seem to be a regular side characters now and alternate as randomly between helping and hindering the development of the core relationship as they do between being covered and uncovered.

It's a book-length adventure as Nagatoro tries to help her victim/crush beat the art club president in an art exhibition at the school cultural festival. If he loses, the art club will be disbanded!
Fan service and boob jokes abound as the art club president is extremely well-endowed.
But this series is really about Nagatoro's many and rapidly changing facial expressions and the slow but obvious tidal change of the emotions flowing between her and her senpai. Sweet and perverse, like the guilty pleasure it is.… (mehr)
