A beautiful calender with photographs by Brigitte Neubacher who resided in Islamabad and various localities in Afghanistan for several years working for the United Nations. Many photographs include Afghans - men, women and children. Some are taken at sites no longer existing (in Bamiyan blown up 2001) or previously destroyed (Hadda Buddhist Center in Nangarhar).

This small publication presents an excellent review of modern Pakistani artists. One major work from each artist (the exhibition had more) is pictured in color along with a biography of the artists (in German or English). The exhibition was shown in a beautiful Palace in Vienna. The booklet is a must for anyone interested in modern Pakistani artists.
