Best of the Minimalist books that I've read recently, this one gives concrete examples along with todo lists. For someone interested in this kind of lifestyle I'd still recommend [bc:Walden|16902|Walden|Henry David Thoreau|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1465675526s/16902.jpg|2361393] You can get it for free Walden, and On The Duty Of Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau in the format that works for you.
If you want to declutter your life and home, this book is for you. The author takes you through a process where, if you follow the steps and get rid of the unnecessary, you can end up with a less busy and less cluttered life. Inside the book are many practical and useful suggestions you can use as you declutter. Minimalism is really a lifestyle, and to get there, you need to make a lifestyle change, which, as in any lifestyle change, not as easy as it looks. This change requires a new way of thinking. However, in the long run, it will lead to a better you, since it will give you the time you need to do those things that are important to you while breathing a sigh of relief for having shed those things you do not need. The author has provided a slid, common sense approach to making this lifestyle change, covering just about every area you need to cover. You can adopt and follow through on everything she suggests, or you can only follow those ideas you find useful—only be careful not to discard too much or you won’t get to the minimalist life style you covet.
I enjoyed reading the book, because I learned new tricks that I can apply to my life and possessions on almost every page. This is definitely a book to read if you want to make your lifestyle better and easier to manage. I recommend it for anyone who wants to get rid of all the excess baggage we all carry and who wishes to change to an easier, more agreeable lifestyle. It can help the newbie or seasoned minimalist get started on or continue through those areas where we tend to gather up excess baggage. I received this from Library Thing to read and review.… (mehr)
