For the most part, I enjoyed this book. I like Sophia and Lunis and found their journey of bonding as dragon and his rider to be quite interesting. The only issue I have with the book is that the last few chapters got a little bit preachy about taking care of the planet. I'm all in favor of each person doing their part to help the environment, but I don't particularly like being slammed with the idea in my fiction. I haven't decided whether or not I'll continue with the series, but I may give book 2 a try just because the characters are so likable.… (mehr)

I’m glad that I requested this book! It was a well written, interesting read, with intriguing, well developed characters. The book started slowly but once it picked up it was full of twists & turns that leave you guessing. The Dream Travelers & the circus are unique and very creative, although they did remind me of X-Men. The characters each had their own differing personalities. I need book 2 ASAP!!! The entire book left you wanting to know so much more, but also left so many unanswered questions about the circus, its origins, the curse and what happened 20 years ago to name just a few.… (mehr)
