Sometimes I feel biographies and auto briographies are a bit "dry" or slow. This book was a fast read. The book covers the childhood of Spinner Spencer in Ft. St. James,BC and then into his NHL life with the Maple Leafs,Sabres and Penguins and Islanders. He is indicted for a 5 yr old murder in Florida and the twists and turns of his life are played out. After being aquitted and surrounded by friends to help him restablish his life,he is murdered. I will never believe his murder is an act of random violence.I usually don't like trial reads,but this too was interesiting and a speedy read.Brian was a fan favorite and for his fans,friends and family he will always be remembered fondly.… (mehr)
