An enjoyable story - a good fun read.

1896, and college professor Concordia Wells, is distracted by the ill-health of her sister Mary but this is compounded by the college being troubled by money problems, malicious pranks, and arson, all topped by the suicide of the bursar.
An enjoyable mystery, well-written, and likeable characters. I look forward to reading more.

September 1896, and the Hartford Women's College has a new Lady Principal. But events turn serious when at the opening of the college's new exhibition donated items go missing. Then the donar himself is killed. Lt Capshaw investigates but Concordia finds herself involved especially with the links to her father's past.
Another enjoyable and interesting well-written mystery with its likeable characters.
