I gave this book a lower rating simply because it is a little dated for the present. However, the information within the text still applies and has great content. The author discusses glaciers and what they are. I thought this was a really great book, content wise because it talks about how land is formed over time, which I believe is something that can be a difficult concept for children to grasp. This book is incredibly thorough which I really loved. I would use this book for an earth science unit. If I were to split students up into different groups and have each student focus on a different piece of land or land form, I would definitely include this concept and book.… (mehr)
