This is a wonderful story to read to primary students because it introduces them to what it would feel like for someone to move to a new country. The main character in the story is a boy that is around the same age as primary students, and I would say that this would help the young readers connect with what the character is thinking. The story describes the culture and life of a person who lives in and is from Puerto Rico.
