Amanda Pillar is Australian. She co-edited the fiction anthologies Voices, Grants Pass, The Phantom Queen Awakes, Scenes from the Second Storey, Ishtar, and Damnation and Dames. Her first solo anthology was Bloodstones. The sequel, Bloodlines, won the 2015 Aurealis Awards Best Anthology. She is the mehr anzeigen author of the novel Graced, and the novella Captive. Deadly Passion is an exciting, magical adventure where the line between good and evil becomes blurred when natural enemies join forces for the good of a common goal.
There is non stop action from start to finish with lots of humour thrown into the mix. There is just the right amount of romance in this story for me.
The author concentrated more on character and plot development resulting in one kick-ass story that I couldn't put down
Dru's sister Peony is a minor character in the Deadly Passion but I immediately liked her and was intrigued by her. I can't wait to read her story in book two.… (mehr)

I loved this story. Great characters, rick and unique world building, and with more books in the series. I was hooked from page one and the pace kept me interested until the last word.
This was a great addition to the Graced world. The characters are so likable and I often forget they are fictional, they seem so real. I did not want it to end and can't wait to find out what happens in Pillar's next Graced story.

Such a great treat. My only quibble is it ended far too quick! I can only hope they plan on expanding this universe into a new series. Nika is a Phoenix. Nope she's not from Arizona, but flares into flames and rises from rebirth once more from those same fires. She and her love James, and fellow Knights were orphaned and now fight to help save people from demons. Things are suddenly changing as what they'd long believed dusty old prophecies, might be more than just the myths they'd thought. Who will come out victorious and what do these prophecies entail? Take a peek into this interesting universe and help with rebuilding from the horrible Australian Bush fires.
