Maggie Pill

I enjoyed the story of three sisters and how they work together though sometimes their "button pushing" could get on my nerves a bit. I did think it was somewhat realistic and believable though from what I know of most siblings.

I thought Barb's being a self-appointed grammar corrector was different--though at times I had a hard time telling what she had corrected and why. (Most of the time it was obvious, but there was at least one instance where I wasn't sure just what she had changed on the sign and then she also ignored a different grammar faux pa of alot not being a word. Something I doubt a true grammarian, as the author tries to paint her as being, would do.

There were also several other errors in the book--spellings of names of businesses and characters that would change from time to time. This made me wonder how well the author could write a grammar-nazi character.… (mehr)
