This book is about Jane Austen's life. She lived a long time ago and was a writer in the 1800s. The book tells us how smart and strong Jane was as a child. She noticed that boys and girls were treated differently, and she didn't like it. Jane wanted to do more than just sew and mend clothes. In her free time, she read many books and wrote stories with her creative mind. This can inspire young readers to believe in themselves and work hard for their dreams.

Jane Austen is a wonderful English author, this book covers her life story. It is a book made to not only tell you about the life of Jane Austen and for children to understand the differences between when she was a child and now. This story is also very good for covering the different lives that English girls led compared to English boys. This story would be perfect for history assignments, language assignments, and writing assignments. Being an avid Jane Austen reader I believe this is a wonderful book.
