Angry all the Time: an emergency guide to anger control by Ronald Potter-Efron
Why I picked this book up: Anger and violence has been on the rise for a long time now. I was interested in reading a book about anger control.

General Thoughts: This book was obviously written by an alcohol and other drug counselor. We differed in how we see anger as a secondary or primary emotion and distinguishing between anger being an emotion and a behavior being something different.

Why I finished this book: I found this book to be good and a useful book in the “what to do” area to address anger and acting out behaviors. It was pragmatic which I really enjoyed.

Rating: I’d give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.

Quite an interesting look at anger and how it works both for and against people. Gave me a lot of things to think about and work with. A good point to start for people on looking at the ways they deal with their anger and how anger has it's uses.

[back cover] "Authors Ron and Pat Potter-Efron have identified ten anger styles--the most common ways that people express or disguise anger, each with its own unique strengths and weaknesses. Through revealing self-tests and real-life examples, readers learn how to recognize their own style (or combination of styles) and what they can do if they feel stuck in that style. Their techniques are for anyone who wants to learn to express anger in healthy and productive ways."
