Did not finish it. Not too bad.
I love these secret rogue groups who have assets all over the world and they just want to screw everyone else. Well that is who our heroes are against as they make an astonishing find at the Yucatan meteor crater site. Can they save humanity? It is a race against the clock. This novel fell flat because they left out all the suspense and hurried through the book. I did like the android Anna.
Augmented is that book which comes along once in awhile which totally takes your breath away. Ben Fisher wakes up one day, in complete amnesia.
What follows leads you through corporate America, murder and mayhem, deep sea diving and archeological digs to Ancient Aliens and Military mischief.
James Prescott writes a perfectly paced thriller with enough technology to fascinate you and a plot thick enough to hide the ending until the, well, the end!
I haven't enjoyed a Science Fiction Thriller this much in recent history. Read this book, you won't regret it!… (mehr)

I loved the first book and this one is just as good. Something triggered the death of millions of people since the last book. The alien ship is sighted coming toward Earth. Secrets are revealed, so many twists and turns, corruption everywhere, and new connections between the aliens coming and the changes to humans are made. Lots of suspense, intrigue, government corruption, science brain food, and great imaginary possibilities!
The narration was terrific! Wonderful performance from start to finish!… (mehr)
