Private Eye

The issue of "Private Eye" which celebrates the closure of "The News of the World" and the humiliation of the News International proprietor, Rupert Murdoch, over the phone hacking scandal. But the "Eye" doesn't restrict its scrutiny to "The News of the World", as it also looks at other Murdoch titles and other papers as well. And meanwhile, the sleaze and scandal of other public life carries on unabated...

One of the better Private Eye collections, which I still found immensely entertaining when I re-read it 20 years after its original publication.

Someone in the British Library either has a fine sense of humour or is woefully ignorant in describing the original language of this work as 'Italian'. I prefer to believe the former and therefore I'm not changing the metadata.
