This is such a delightful book. The author dropped off a donation of 60 of these to the children's center where I work. The publisher in the area was not going to distribute because of the Christian message and scripture at the end of the book.

The writing is creative, playful, but also beautiful. The repeated message that we all have value, self-worth, and should feel proud to be ourselves was potent. The story with the swan helped illustrate this. It's a new twist on an older story, but done better. The illstrations were spot-on.

I haven't had a chance to download the songs or the audio - each book comes with a code link to do so, but I like the addition to enhance children's reading of this story.
