It has a forward by Tony Blair, setting out his views as to what being a member of the Labour Party means - and it is a view of which I am proud to be a subscriber. So, what went wrong?
I suspect that the answer lies somewhere between the internal fighting that broke out within the Labour Party, almost as soon as TB was elected and the conservatism (small 'c'!!!) of the British people. Change takes a long time and no political party has that. Whatever is to be done must show positive effects within five years, or it is a liability.
This book is full of common sense ideas. Well worth the read.… (mehr)
