Dawn Robertson

This book just wasn't doing anything for me, the main character was too harsh for my enjoyment. And I couldn't get into a book where the guy is called a 'good boy'. That's not to say the book was shit, it just wasn't my thing at all. Add to that the reviews I read indicated a sudden ending that left the reader thinking 'wtf'. So, not having any affinity for the book or the characters thus far, I'm gonna call it quits now, about 20% into it. From what I read, I don't see why it has such a good rating.… (mehr)

Hers was a good erotic read. Dawn Robertson sure knows how to write a smexy scene! I loved the romantic aspect of the book as well. For me the best part of the book was Levi, the love interest. Though he was a tad broken from his previous marriage, he was strong and confident.. and super kinky :D The only real issue I had with this book was Seven's character development. It was okay, but just not believable to me. Also, the revenge plot was kind of silly. Other than that, I liked the book, it was HOT and had some good emotional parts in it. I liked the ending, and would definitely read more from Dawn Robertson!… (mehr)
