It is hard to write about this book in an objective manner. This feeling is amplified not only by Ronson's haughty attitude while reading his own book, but also by the nagging feeling that any criticism of this book could be construed as online shaming. Thus, I want to be short and blunt. Ronson sets out to tell the stories of people he (rightly) sees as victims of shit storms. In his efforts, he proves the truism that being shamed is a crushing experience, being amplified by modern social media.
