This book is great to read to children with expecting mothers. The book takes the child step by step on the process the mom and new baby will through in the hospital. I loved this book as i feel it covered every aspect when preparing an older sibling in order to prepare them for the new baby.

I really enjoyed this book simply because of how it used personal accounts to children and teenagers. This book is a compilation of writings from various children regarding their experiences with divorce and being raised by a single parent. i think many children will be able to relate to this book because it is from the point of view of their peers and included some experiences that one may not find in other children picture books.

A beautiful story that tells of one child's friendship with a handicapped child named Leslie. The story is told through the perspective of Leslie's friend as the young girl shares the experiences of having Leslie in her class throughout the school year.

I personally love how the author provides the reader with the perception the Leslie is just like you and I as she simply as hearing and visual impairments. The author and photographer does a wonderful job of portraying the personality of this young individual.

I have to express the photographs in this book. The photographer provides the reader with beautiful illustrations of Leslie as she interacts with her environment.

I would share this book with my students to express the significance of treating people with special needs like anybody else.
