Kei Sanbe

A very interesting concept about an angsty surviving twin who suspects the twin everyone thinks is dead might be alive, and the struggles one goes through to find a (presumed dead) loved one. The concept alone is gripping, and the relationship the two brothers have also gets more an more interesting as the series would go on. It's a fine read, but it's also trying REALLLLLY hard not to be ERASED, as the mystery our protagonist tries to solved is handled with fists slightly more than careful planning and strategy. Definitely feels like it's trying to be darker and edgier than ERASED considering that the protagonist is in high school instead of elementary school, but in trying to be darker and edgier, it's really what they do with the concept and how they handle the main character's trauma reading, rather than the events that actually occur in the story...… (mehr)

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this manga to review! I had never read anything by Key Sanbe before but I had heard such good things and it didn't disappoint. I loved this book! It was a quick read and it left me want more. There was a lot of plot set up in this volume and a great twist in the story. I enjoyed the art style of the book and the panels are clean and easy to read. The two main characters are brother and sister which are left by there mother most of the time. I will definitely be picking up the next volume!… (mehr)
