An enjoyable read with plenty going on. Shame it's part of a series, I didn't realise it was when I started it, I doubt I'll get to know the rest of the story now! I would have given it 4 stars if it had been a standalone read..... oh well
This book grabbed me by the throat in the first sentence, had me hooked by the end of the first page and didn't let up until the final page. Absolutely loved it. Action packed and highly recommended.
This is the third book in Richard L.Sanders' Phoenix series, and like the previous two my biggest complaint is that he really needs a good editor to go through the work before publishing; the spelling and grammar mistakes get annoying after a while. But beyond that the story is still interesting and is starting to add layers to the conspiracy at the heart of the story. It is a fairly light fun read, similar to what you would find with a Star Trek or Star Wars novel; there is nothing here that is truly mind blowing or unique to the sci-fi genre, but still worth a read.… (mehr)
