Rezensionen

The combined texts of the Kashyapa Sutras, Lalita Trishati, and the Guru Gita with full Sanskrit mantras, Roman phonetic transliteration and English translations. The Kashyapa Sutras is a series of delightful satsangs (spiritual discourses) with Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda (of Devi Mandir, USA - not Satyananda Yoga) in which they share stories, philosophy and songs. The Guru Gita explains the nature of relationship to the Guru, and the Lalita Trishati defines Sri Vidya with three hundred names of the Divine Mother.

The Chandi Path (She Who Tears Apart Thought), also known as The Durga Saptasati (The Seven Hundred Verses in Praise of She Who Removes All Difficulties) and The Devi Mahatmyam (The Glory of the Goddess), is the seven hundred verses in Sanskrit about how the Divine Mother puts Too Much and Too Little in balance, cuts down Self-Conceit and Self-Deprecation, and causes the Great Ego to surrender.

This is the key text celebrated / utlised in the Navaratri - Nine Nights of the Goddess - sadhana each year.

About the Author
Swami Satyananda Saraswati has walked the length and breadth of the Himalayas of India, and is the author of more than thirty Sanskrit translations of major Hindu scriptures. NOTE: This is Swami Satyananda Saraswati of the Devi Mandir USA and not Swami Satyananda Saraswati of Bihar Yoga / Satyananda Yoga.
