Sinaida Prinzessin Schakowskoy (1906–2001)

Princess, poet, prose writer, critic, journalist. Exiled in 1920.
She studied at the American College of Constantinople (1921-1922), at the Catholic Monastery of Berléimon in Brussels (1923-1924), at the Protestant School of Social Security in Paris (1925-1926) .
In 1926, she married S. S. Malevsky-Malevich, nephew of the Russian Imperial Ambassador to Japan.
From 1945 to 1947, war correspondent in Germany, Austria, Italy and Greece.
From 1951 to 1952 Executive Secretary of the International Federation of Film Archives (Paris).
In 1957-1958 she lived in Moscow with her [diplomat] husband.
In 1961, an employee of the main editorial board of French radio.
From 1968 to 1978, editor-in-chief of the newspaper 'La Pensée russe'
