This book provides a very brief look at chameleons. There's not a ton of information contained herein, just the highlights of where they live, what their natural predators are, etc. Every page spread has only a couple of sentences and then a full-page photograph. This book is useful for children who are just learning to read and want to be able to read a book on their own with minimal struggle. A glossary at the end of the book defines bolded words from the rest of the text, including commoner words like "opposite" as well as the more scientific ones like "savannah."
