Nice story of a single father who needs a housekeeper and nanny for his little girl. The woman he hires is pretty lousy at the housekeeping but his little girl likes her so he keeps her on. They fall in love and the sex scenes are pretty sweet while still being hot. She has some health issues and he has some commitment issues. A sweet story that is well written and well plotted that plays out over a believable period of time.

3-1/2 stars. This was well written and moved right along. I loved the premise of the much younger heroine in love with her brother's best friend. That part of the story worked well. I think the thing that brought it down for me was the element about his past and his feud with his father and stepmother. There were too many ideas crammed into the book. There was too much going on and it took away from the more interesting elements of the story for me. Still it was a good read.

A sweet romance. It was well written and the plot flowed well. The hero cut himself off after his wife died in childbirth. Three years later, he marries a down on her luck young woman to care for his daughter whom he has refused to love. I really liked the plucky heroine. There was POV from both the hero and the heroine and some from the hero's best friend Gun. I really liked Gun also and would like to know if there's a book about him. I couldn't find one. :-(
