Being a booklet which adumbrates the early years of baseball. The booklet is too short to be at all definitive in its narrative. Since it is not written in an interesting style, nor is it illustrated, it really doesn't serve to attract new followers of the topic. A short account such as this was probably more necessary when this came out, but a purpose at this time is doubtful.
