I really enjoyed this book! First, the writing was creative and flowed. Jack's allergy journey begins by him exploring his food allergy during the school day when he reacts to his lunch, then his mom picks him up from school and takes him to the doctors where he finds out what he was allergic to. The illustration plays an important role in this book because it allows the reader to see Jack's emotions of how he felt when he did not feel good to how he felt when he found out his allergy and was happy to be better again and now able to avoid it. The reader can take away the importance of allergies and who can help identify, answer questions or help when having an allergic reaction.… (mehr)
