Kathryn Slattery

I normally like Guideposts books, but in this one, the author took way too long to get into the meat of her story. There are only a few short chapters at the end that discuss what the summary states is the reason for writing the book--what she learned from caring for her aging mother. Too much time is spent on her growing up years and family history.

NCLA Review - Author Kathryn Slattery has written a very useful resource that can be equally valuable to children, parents and Sunday school teachers. Questions range from simple, to fun, to challenging. Readers will find their questions answered simply, honestly and quite often with reference to specific Bible passages. This book of questions and answers should be in every child’s church library and ideally, in every Christian home. Ages 7-adult. Rating 4 —MMW
