Keely has always been the good girl but when she meets an extremely handsome, yet very mysterious, man she does not know what has come over her. Vaughn on the other hand makes his living by seduction unsuspecting woman and Keely is just the next name on his list. However, the more time he spends with her, the more he is drawn to her beyond a job.

This take a turn after Keely overhears a phone call between Vaughn and someone and she bolts. But upon arrival home, there is someone waiting for her. Keely gets some very interesting information and that could mean her life is in danger.

I really enjoyed this first part and highly anticipate the next in the series. It is hot and thrilling ride that will entrap you from the get go.… (mehr)

Intense.
I liked it, but......
There are a lot big problems for me.

#1. Chopped into short serials. This I could forgive if not for problem #2.

#2. These shorts are extremely highly priced.
5.99 for the next book in this series

#3. There are actually 8 books/stories to the series

#4. The series has TWO separate names on GR but they are the SAME series.
Series names are;
'The Invitation'
and
'The Seduction'

#5. The disorganization of the listings and how they are numbered gives me a headache. On
Amazon 'Seduction' is listed as book #1. This book 'Surrender' can not be found. When I
purchased 'The Invitation' this book was in it and listed as book #2.
And...
'The Invitation' is listed as book #1 the prequel.
You can not have 2 books in the same series as book 1.

It gets worse.

#6. The Invitation, which is listed as book 1 on GR, is listed as book #3 on Amazon.

#7. Amazon says there are 8 books in 'The Surrender' a.k.a. 'The Invitation' series.
GR has only 4 books listed in 'The Surrender' series and they do not have the same titles
as Amazon.
However, GR has 'The Invitation' series listed as having 3 books in it, these do have
separate titles, but they are NOT listed in that series on Amazon since that series does
NOT exist.

I really liked the stories and how they were written and wanted to continue them.
That is not going to happen now.
I would have to be a 'Mental Contortionist' to figure out which book is the actual 1st book and which book comes next in the series. I would have to do a lot of work to find the actual titles to the other books in the series.
Then pay a sh@# ton of money to purchase them and always be unsure as to what I am getting.

So, alas, I will not continue with this series, nor with Ms. Roxy Sloane.

It is just not worth the hassle.… (mehr)

There is a reason Roxy is one of my favorite authors... She ALWAYS delivers. As is her style, we have the sexy criminal who main crime is how hot he is, but yet he is totally misunderstood, we have the naive girl who manages to captivate him but has no idea how and is in way over her head, then we have the obstacles trying to make a mockery of their love. This is a great way to mind numb an afternoon. The way Roxy writes, you will be able to imagine you are Nicky, and turn your brain off and enjoy those tingles. Let your mind wander and your fantasies take over, as Roxy delivers yet another stunning performance.… (mehr)
