Jacqueline has done it yet again! This was another amazing book from her.

This book is technically the end of the of the series, but I’m still holding on to hope that there will be more. *fingers crossed* As a conclusion, this book was great. It wrapped up the main storyline of the Tara drama perfectly. I was very happy with what ultimately transpired.

I really liked how this book incorporated even more of Chloe and Kendra. They’re both super awesome characters and were a nice addition to the band’s inner circle. I loved the all-girl alliance that Mel, Joni, Chloe, and Kendra formed.

Like the other books in this series, there were a lot of twists and turns. It kept me guessing the entire time. I literally had no idea how it was going to end. I got anxious in the last 30 pages because I wasn’t sure what would happen. But like I mentioned previously, it ended very well. I have zero complaints.

As a random side note, there was one paragraph in the beginning that I really loved. It’s when Mel is describing how hot Sam looks while shooting a music video. She remarks, “By God, he looks so good. He kind of looks like the Prince from Beauty and the Beast, but if the Prince was blond and like, a million times hotter. And not animated” (46). As you probably already know, I love Beauty and the Beast and I love any reference to it.

As usual, I loved this book because I love all of Jacqueline’s books. Her writing style is just amazing.

This book was another fantastic addition to the series. There was a lot of paranormal activity in this book and I loved every second of it. I think out of all three of the books, this had the most spooks. A lot happened in this one.

The haunted carnival setting was really perfect because it introduced a lot of interesting new characters, like Rasia and Chance McDermott. I’m curious to see more of them in future books.

What I really love about this series, and this book in particular, is how it deals with death and grief in regards to both the loved ones and the deceased. It explores the nuances of both sides in great depth. The last two chapters of this book demonstrated this perfectly. Those chapters were so touching, emotional and heartfelt. If I was one of those people who could cry when reading books, I probably would have.

All in all, this was an incredible addition to the Cemetery Tours series and I cannot wait to see what Jacqueline comes up with for the next book.… (mehr)

I was so excited to read this book because it takes place in a haunted house. Fun fact about me: I LOVE haunted houses. My favorite ride at Disneyland is the Haunted Mansion and I often consider it to be my dream home. I also live super close to the Winchester Mystery House (which is totally awesome by the way). So already I was destined to love this book.

I liked the first book in this series, but I loved this one more! I tend to like the second book in series more than the first because all the set up is already done. This book got straight to all the haunting fun and did not disappoint.

So first off, Stanton Hall Manor sounds like my kind of house. There’s a room called the Storybook Room and it sounds like the greatest thing ever. The book states, “The Storybook Room was designed like a book store, with antique novels lining each and every corner of each and every wall. It reminded Kate of the castle library in Beauty and the Beast” (90). That place sounds like heaven!

Character-wise, I really liked how we got to meet Luke’s ghost hunting team. I can’t wait to see more of them! Also, I really love Brink. He’s so precious and provides such great comedic relief.

The storyline was really good and as usual there was a good balance of the paranormal and the normal.

I also liked how natural Kate and Michael’s relationship felt. They make a very cute couple.

Overall, this was even better than the first. I can’t wait to start reading the third book as soon as I post this review.… (mehr)

Like all the other books, this one was so good!

This book was filled with nonstop craziness. It was pretty much bombshell after bombshell. What happened in book two was just the tip of the iceberg. So. Much. Drama. But I loved every second of it (I’m a sucker for celebrity drama. It’s my guilty pleasure). I just couldn’t believe all the things that were happening. Much like the last 50 pages of the previous book, it was utter insanity.

Aside from the drama aspect, I loved Mel and Chloe’s friendship. I liked that Chloe would text Mel and check in with her whenever she heard something about the band or Mel. It was really nice seeing their friendship develop especially after their initial rocky start. I hope we see even more of her in the next book.

I also loved that this book focused on their tour. I loved the places they visited and the behind the scenes glimpse of what it’s like being on tour. Since I am an RVer, I can definitely relate to the small bathroom space. Those showers are tiny!

Overall, this was an excellent continuation of the series. I cannot wait to see how it all ends!… (mehr)
