It's a pretty straightforward book that doesn't go into huge depth about the many stories in the book. I would have liked maybe vampires to be split off and each book be the size of this one.

Strange book that could definitely use some editing (both typos/proofreading issues and organization). Interesting tidbits and personal stories from the author's experiences as a medium and ghost tour manager in the French Quarter of New Orleans, but some stories seem totally unrelated (many are nowhere near the French Quarter)...and some are just too creepy for me.

If you are looking for a collection of ghost stories about New Orleans this is not that book. This book contains a few modern ghost stories but is primarily concerned with the author and her experiences both mondane and supernatural. In all an interesting read. I particularly appreciated her impression on the impacts of katrina on the people and spirits of the city.
