I got this book form a first reads give away a while back. It was quite short and I read it all in one go. I don't like that it jumped from character to character, I've never been a fan of that. I think if you are going to have someone narrate you should stick with one person two at most. Only two if they are not with each other. It seems point tress to have someone who isn't the main character narrate if they are right there. Another thing I had a problem with is if you are going to to kill someone off, the main character has to be upset and greave. If they aren't upset how is the audience supposed to be. It was nice to see one of the mainish secondary character be gay and struggling with his sexuality. One thing I would here liked to have known is why they never brought there family's to the new town or the surface, it doesn't make sense. I didn't really like the ending, I always thought that the surface was just something to strive for not something that can be attained. Plus it's not as if they can repopulate or even really know how to hunt or anything. I'm not really a fan of teen romance cause the person you are madly in love with when your a young adult is almost never the person you spend the rest of your life with. And I think they are way too young for some of the things that they were doing at the and of the things they were doing at the end of the book.… (mehr)
