A GORGEOUS book about a young girl's henna. The story it tells, the excitement it holds, the worry of it going away.

I have a good friend who does henna and oh my goodness, one day I want her to do mine!

This book showcases different cultures and the book is a great way to introduce students to cultures that they are not familiar with. The story shows students that even though we are different, we are still the same! I would say that this would be a great read-aloud for upper primary and intermediate students, and it would be a great way to introduce a multicultural perspective.
