(eng) Sir George Staunton may refer to either Sir George Leonard Staunton, 1st Baronet (10 April 1737 – 14 January 1801), or his son, Sir George Thomas Staunton, 2nd Baronet (26 May 1781 – 10 August 1859).
Sir George Leonard Staunton was a botanist who was part of the Macartney embassy to China in 1793, and was responsible for writing the official account of the expedition. His son accompanied him and later wrote a number of works about China.
