Npo Tadoku Supporters

As a beginning student of Japanese, these readers were exactly what I was looking for. They are elementary in language use, but are not geared toward children; instead, they address basic concepts of family life, food, and Japanese culture in a clear and engaging way. The illustrations often allowed me to determine meaning from context, which felt much more natural than always turning to a dictionary.

My only quibble is the order in which the stories were presented. I found the first two stories to be more challenging than the next three. But this is a minor complaint, and I have already ordered the remainder off the Level 0 and all the Level 1 books to continue the learning process.… (mehr)
