Two annoying people meet, have lots of sex (accompanied by lame, unimaginative sex talk) and fall in love. The bad guy is totally unbelievable - why would he continue to demand his due from someone with no involvement in his business who has recently developed law enforcement connections - what a moron. The most interesting thing about Tiffani, the child she gave up years earlier, is mentioned and then never touched on again.

If I wasn't reviewing it, I would not have finished it.

I liked this one way better than book 1. Spontaneous Vegas wedding, much angst and complications... and Gabe. Yum.

Pretty good story about old friends who reconnect as something more. I really liked Jake's friend Gabe, and enjoyed his story more.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy to review. It took me a while to get into this book because the character Tiffani was a little irritating. But once I got past that it was a good story, fast paced and a quick read. Nice book if you want to escape for an afternoon.
