This was a nail-biter right to the end. The author does a beautiful job of gradually laying out the backstory of Annie and Lucas, where things are different than they seemed. Their romance is a slow-burn due to circumstances, but it's easy to see why this is a RITA award winner. Wonderful story.… (mehr)

A must read for fans of Historical Romance, adventure, romance, mystery and suspense. An absolute thrill ride of a story!!
